Serving its own Turks Ale (brewed by St Austell Brewery) alongside the likes of hot chocolate with a kick of St Agnes brandy for more inclement days, The Turks Head is Britain’s most south-westerly pub, and in our opinion one of the best watering holes on the islands. Bag a table in the last of the evening sun and watch the gigs race into the beach below, stop by for an island-made pasty, catch live music in the summer months or take a perch at the bar and swap stories with other visitors and island residents.
