The Sloop Inn
The Wharf St Ives TR26 1LP
A popular haunt with benches spilling out onto the edge of harbour, you’ll be lucky to bag a table here on a sunny afternoon. One of Cornwall’s oldest inns, the doors opened way back in around 1312 so they’ve had plenty of time to get the hang of serving the decent selection of keg and cask ales on tap. Staying true to its roots there’s been no gastro-pub makeover here, but simple pub grub is served in the bar and upstairs in the Captain’s Table restaurant. Wi-fi in the bar. Dogs are welcome.
