Extremely well finished the light rooms reflect the seaside surroundings perfectly. Downstairs, the top restaurant and bar feature real ales and a good wine list. A traditional pub environment with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, this is a good place to stay or simply enjoy a quiet drink both as a shelter in the winter or sitting outside when the sun arrives. With views across a narrow beach and out to sea it's a pleasant location on the northeast corner of the island.

Calm sea view
A nice little pub overlooking a pebble beach, it feels far from the busier towns of Ryde and Newport, though it is just a ten minute walk along the seafront to Ryde. The pub serves ales and a good selection of food, including cooked breakfasts, and the rooms are situated directly above the bar, which can lead to a bit of noise till closing time, but otherwise it's a very peaceful location and you'll wake up to a lovely sea view.
