Posh Primrose Hill has many things going for it: it's a classy neighbourhood, home to a wide variety of celeb residents – everyone from Ed Millband to Kate Moss and Noel Gallagher. But the best thing about it is the hill itself, a green, undulating space that gives probably the best view of London there is, looking over the turrets and cages of the zoo beyond Regents Park to the greatest city in the world. Summer weekends see a great scene here, of locals just hanging out and outsider scaling the hill for the view. The trick is to not look back whilst walking up the hill until you're at the very top. Best times to go are either at night, when the London cityscape is lit up and enchanting, or during the day for a picnic and game of rounders with friends.
