If you're looking for a B&B room with a view over the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast, then look no further. The lovely Manor Town House, overlooking the sea in Fishguard, provides a warm welcome and fabulous views in what is one of the best places to stay in the area.
The affable owners, Helen and Chris, have a distinguished fan club – Bill Bryson declared their B&B 'lovely' and Nick Crane reckoned it to have the UK's 'best breakfast view', not to mention the 'best breakfast'. And Bill and Nick are not far wrong. Along with the inspiring views, Manor Town House has six lovely guest rooms, four of which have sea views – and two of these have beds perfectly positioned for watching both sunrise and sunset over the sea! All rooms are en-suite – one with a bath and five with showers. Each is individually decorated with flair and style, with well-chosen antique furniture and super-comfy beds (Chris, or maybe it's Helen, have even counted the number of springs to ensure you have a good night's sleep!). You can also expect all the other comforts you get in five-star establishments, such as TV & DVD, dressing gowns, high-end toiletries, bottled water, and more.
Downstairs there's a room stuffed full of DVDs and books, a (licensed) honesty bar, and a couple of cosy rooms with log fires that are regularly adorned with work by local painters and photographers. There's good free WiFi, cream tea and afternoon tea are available, and their breakfasts have won awards for the best use of local produce, so you'll be well fed too. They serve a seasonal four-course 'tasting' style breakfast – the offering changes daily, and may include anything from fresh fruit skewers and freshly baked pastries to toasted homemade sourdough topped with lemon-roast asparagus, poached egg and a side of garden-thyme slow-roast heritage tomatoes. Yum!
Hosts Helen and Chris are extremely welcoming and on hand to answer any questions you may have. In short, no stone has been left unturned at the Manor Town House, which is as close to the perfect contemporary seaside B&B as it's possible to get. We think you'll love it!

Delightful stay
The room was immaculate, the bed really comfortable, the breakfast delicious and the view over the garden and bay was lovely. Chris was very welcoming despite our late arrival due to the delayed car ferry. Will definitely be back.

Pembrokeshire Perfection
Everything about this B&B screams quality, luxury and professionalism - decor, room size, linens, bed, toiletries, service, water pressure and anything else you can think of. We stayed for 3 nights and would have loved to have stayed longer we felt so at home. Chris and Helen are charming, thoughtful hosts dedicated to exceeding needs and taking great care to meet my peculiar dietary needs, no question too small or too hard. Breakfasts were made with love; delicious and plentiful. Great information provided on their website and restaurant recommendations provided in advance. Room 5 at the top of the stairs for view over the bay was brilliant. A safe haven and the best place we have stayed so far in 3 weeks of travel around Wales.

Phenomenal
Our stay at The Manor Townhouse was phenomenal. Chris was very pleasant, warm and welcoming. Best Breakfast in the whole of our travels. Most comfortable rooms with everything that we could ask for. Tastefully decorated rooms have amazing views. Loved it completely. Will be back here on our next visit.

Sensational
Sensational. More like a luxury boutique hotel than a B&B. Attention to detail in everything - decor, bathroom products, drinks etc is wonderful. Incredibly good value for the standard of accommodation.

Absolutely loved this bed and breakfast
The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the rooms and beds were lovely. Our party of 6 paid £8 per person for a scone party in the common room, which I highly recommend! So delicious. A wonderful stay with no complaints. Would love to stay there again!

Very kind and helpful hosts

Would certainly stay again
Very well-maintained and clean. Our room (5) on the top floor had a lovely view over the bay. Bed was great and there was plenty of space. No onsite parking, but the Public Car Park was a short walk away. Chris - the host - was very welcoming. Breakfast was without choices, but what was provided was excellent quality. If we were back in Fishguard, we'd certainly stay again.

Best B&B we've ever stayed in
My wife and I have just come home from a 5-night stay at the Manor Town House. We have to give a 5-star review because this was the best B&B we have ever stayed in! Everything gets 5 stars. Helen and Chris are fabulous hosts. Our room was excellent. The breakfasts are incredible. Fishguard is a lovely small town, with good restaurants & pubs, and the bonus of a homely cinema. There is so much to do, and so many places to visit in this area of Pembrokeshire. If you haven't been there, try it: you won't be disappointed!

Gem of a B&B
Real gem of a B&B in the picturesque harbour town of Fishguard. Everything in the accommodation is immaculate. Chris and Helen are great hosts and have really given this property a wow factor. Some of the rooms have fantastic sea views. If you don't get one of these rooms you won't miss out as the garden terrace has breathtaking views. Breakfast, all made freshly by Helen, is top quality. We will return.
