YHA Boscastle is a beautiful small hostel situated in the centre of the north Cornish town of the same name. You wouldn’t know it was a hostel from the outside, and in its way the inside is no different, with only 28 beds in total with and only one (four-bed) en-suite room. With a lovely lounge and sitting room, it's got a cosy, intimate feel, where everyone mucks in together and make the most of what is by any standards a great location, with beaches, walks and outdoor activities galore. The South West Coast Path is less than a mile away; the renowned Boscastle Museum of Witchcraft & Magic is just a couple of minutes' walk, and Widemouth Bay and Trebarwith Sands are both lovely long sandy beaches with good surf – plus the evocative ruins of King Arthur's legendary castle at Tintagel are just a few miles down the coast.
