Walk to Harnham
Water Lane Salisbury
At twenty-minutes maximum on sealed paths, the short walk south-west of the centre on Town Path is the easiest country-style stroll in Salisbury. The reason everyone goes is for the view over water meadows to the cathedral spire, which remains almost as bucolic as that which captivated Constable, but a pint at the Old Mill Hotel at journey’s end runs it a close second. It's an easy route, splashed with colour in the spring and summer, something perfect on a warm day and a good escape from the bustling cobbled streets around the town centre.
