Gallery Cafe
108 Fisherton Street Salisbury SP2 7QY
Within the converted Fisherton Mill gallery are dishes to tempt at all times. Mid-morning snacks segue into bistro lunches between noon and 2pm – seared lamb fillet with grilled aubergine, organic homemade burgers or fresh pastas plus a daily homemade soup and tasty sandwiches – then there are bites for afternoon munchies such as cheese on toast and fresh cakes. All are highly recommended and its a just one of the draws to this space that will undoubtedly beckon you through to view the artwork beyond. The mill itself has had an interesting history, from horse-powered grain processing, to an Australian army warehouse, to the scene of an illegal rave and today's gallery and cafe is just another dimension to an ever changing place.
