Martin’s Haven Haverfordwest Pembrokeshire

The road comes to a halt at St Martin’s Haven but just before it does, there is a small National Trust car park. Park here and go through a gateway in the wall and you will find yourself on a last peninsula of land stretching out towards Skomer Island, known as the Deer Park. There are no deer to be seen but this is a really special walk, with paths leading around the precipitous cliffs, offering fabulous views of offshore islands, seabirds, and inaccessible coves where in season you may find seals coming in to bask or give birth to their young.
