Dale is a well-protected bay, perfect for learning to sail or windsurf, or just mess around in a sea kayak. West Wales offer lessons – and rental of boats, boards, kayaks and wetsuits – for all ages and levels. Boats hired out include wayfarers, picos, toppers and catamarans, though priority goes to those taking lessons, so in season call ahead to be sure of availability. There’s a café and a pub, the Griffin Inn (with real ale and basic meals), next door.
