Independent, ethical and cheap – just what a buzzy little café should be. So tiny you may have to share a table (or the sofa) with its mainly student clientele, it offers filled ciabattas and salads, and possibly the best carrot cake and hot chocolate in Cambridge. The atmosphere is beautifully local, with wonderful smells and the chinking of mugs as the friendly staff take you're order. If the seats are all taken you can grab something quick and take away, wandering down to Kings College just round the corner.
