Rainbow Cafe
9A King’s Parade Cambridge CB2 1SJ
Exotic global dishes, pastas and risottos are the draw in this, Cambridge’s only vegetarian restaurant – a buzzy basement affair much of whose cuisine is gluten- and nut-free. If your tastes are wide ranging then the spectrum of the menu is as eclectic as the cafe's name suggests: Ethiopian lentil stews, Guadalope aubergine dishes and Cuban pies win plaudits from gourmets; good prices win favour with students. Even the most avid carnivore cannot help but be a little won over by the food on offer here. If you're out and about in cambridge and looking for something different that will give you a nice surprise, the Rainbow Cafe is well worth sticking you're nose in. A quick sniff of the offerings and you won't be able to help but go inside to eat!
