Periglis Beach
St Agnes
Flanked by an old lifeboat slip and Burnt Island – to which it is linked by a rocky spit at low tide – Periglis is a sandy crescent of reprieve on the rugged west coast of St Agnes. A stunner of a spot for swimming, picnics and mesmerising sunsets, from here there is nought but the Western Rocks and Bishop Rock Lighthouse before the shores of America 3,000 miles away.
