Middle Beach makes the perfect family day out by the seaside. There's soft sand, relatively warm water which is usually calm, the Studland Seaschool if you fancy a bit of kayaking or water sports, and the Middle Beach café for inexpensive food and drink. Picturesque Studland village is five minutes' walk away and the beach is right on the South West coast path. You can even park right by the sands – though expect to pay around £6 for four hours' stay.
