You’re not going to bump into Damon Albarn or
Phil Davies, but you will get a great cuppa and a cracking sandwich in this
cute café in, funnily enough, the park. It's essentially an unglamorous cabin but don't let that deter you, the vibe is sat back, inclusive and welcoming. Young and committed enthusiasts Kim and Charlie serve up good (Fairtrade) coffee, chocolate and tea and a delicious selection of sandwiches including BLTs (vegetarian and otherwise), ham, Dijon
and salad, olives, and a very good falafel pitta stuffed with hummus, sweet
chilli and lettuce. You can grab an
all-day breakfast before strutting your stuff on the skate park, or sit with
free wifi and pen that novel.
