Sea views from every window? Check. Short walk to the stunning Welsh coastline? Check. Bottlenose dolphins in the waters below? Check. That's the 'must have' list sorted with a stay at Porth Dinllaen, an enviable five-bedroom holiday home on the outstanding LLŷn Peninsula in North Wales. Part of a gorgeously sited complex of coastal cottages and apartments, the house has the most advanced location on a site of open meadows backing the coastal cliffs, meaning that there are uninterrupted views to all sides. A wrap-around outdoor deck takes full advantage of the location, and you can sneak a peek of the deep blue sea beyond from kitchen and lounge – not to mention bed or bath if you snag the master bedroom.
It's well set up for a friends and family get-together, with five bedrooms sleeping up to ten people. There's no looking beyond the king-sized master on the first floor with its floor-to-ceiling sea-view windows and immense bathroom with stand-alone bathtub and separate shower. You genuinely can take a dip while looking across the meadow to the sea – just don't drop the binoculars in the bath if you're scanning for those elusive dolphins. The two other bedrooms on the first floor are another, smaller, en-suite double and a room that can be set up as a twin, with a family bathroom for all to share. Downstairs is another en-suite double and a fifth room that has a double sofa-bed, so it can be used as a den or kids' room.
A big open-plan kitchen and lounge has squishy sofas and wood-burner, plenty of dining space, and a fully fitted kitchen with enough work space for comings and goings throughout the day, as people sort themselves out for breakfast and other meals. Big windows and glass doors on two sides open on to the deck, with grassy paths through the open meadow and the coastline just a step away – in fact, the Welsh Coastal Path runs right in front of the site.
There's a pebble beach a short walk below the property, or you can walk along the coastal path or drive the short distance to wonderful sandy bays at Porth Nefyn or the namesake beach at Porth Dinllaen – the latter only accessible on foot (park at the National Trust car park at Morfa Nefyn). Or there are any number of other family-friendly, sandy beaches within half an hour's drive, after which it's time to head back to your own sea-view sun-deck, pour a G&T and settle in for the sunset in this most spectacular of Welsh coastal locations.

Facilities
Upon entering the property you will find an impressive, full-height entrance hall which leads you through to the living room where the wood-burning stove, smart tv with Nintendo Switch and squashy leather sofa are the perfect spot to unwind and socialise with your guests.
The spectacular master bedroom, complete with stunning en-suite bathroom is particularly notable, due to the large glazed windows that invite you to gaze endlessly at the deep blue sea beyond- from the comfort of your sumptuous bed or bath!
For those not lucky enough to secure the master suite, there are two further bedrooms upstairs and a further double located on the ground floor-which may serve well those with limited mobility. In addition, the fifth bedroom doubles as a den, and comes with a double sofa bed, perfect for a pair of teens! Please advise on your pre-arrival call, how you wish this room to be prepared.
Outside the property has a large wrap-around sea view deck, complete with dining furniture that can be accessed on the level from the kitchen and lounge; with the open meadow and coastline immediately beyond, perfect for kite flying and cartwheels or an evening stroll with the dog!
