It's an ideal place to stay if you're looking for somewhere that's walking distance from local amenities but also within easy reach of some of South Wales' most spectacular countryside, in particular the coast and Gower Peninsula and the nearby Brecon Beacons. 

The cottage is the sort of place you can feel at home in immediately, with wooden floors throughout, good wifi and an open-plan living room with a comfy sofa and armchair and a Smart TV. There's a kitchen-dining area with a Shaker-style kitchen with fridge-freezer and dishwasher, microwave, electric cooker and hob, and upstairs there are two double bedrooms plus a family bathroom with a combined bath and shower, The house also has a secluded courtyard garden with outdoor furniture for sunny days.

Above all Y Cwtsh's position can't be beaten: you're footsteps away from the shops, pubs and restaurants of the delightful and rather chic market town of Llandeilo, which sits in Camarthenshire's Tywi Valley and is home to a multitude of walking and cycling routes. Local sights and beauty spots include Dinefwr Park and Castle and the National Trust property of Newton House. You're within easy reach of the coast – the Gower Peninsula is a short drive away to the south, and the Brecon Beacons stretch out to the east, with any number of places to explore, including Carreg Cennen Castle, Brechfa Forest and Penlan Park.
