A Herefordshire glamping treasure that's like nothing you've ever seen before
Book your stay securely on a third-party website
Hidden magically away in the rolling green pastures of Hereford lies a glamping treasure nothing you've ever seen before. The clue is in the name, as you're staying in a converted 1970s Bedford Panorama bus, which has been lovingly restored and decorated to an impeccable finish. They've been featured on Channel 4's popular show, George Clark's Amazing Spaces so needless to say you might want to get booking your stay now to avoid any disappointment.
Those of you who like your eco-friendly lodgings, will be pleased to know the Majestic Bus is completely powered by the sun, and there's a fully working kitchen and electric hook ups to charge your phones if necessary. There's also a large fire pit on your doorstep – just in case you long for the more natural camping experience, and a hot tub too. However, our favourite bit of this impressive property is the über-luxurious, purpose-built bathhouse just a few metres away from the bus. It has a wood-burning stove, a huge roll top bath and epic views of the surrounding countryside. So if you want romance, comfort and something that little bit different, look no further.

The Owner Says
The bus accommodates up to four people, but there are spaces for tent pitches just outside for up to four people. The bus has a dining/kitchen area with hand-built units, oak worktops, a gas cooker and a fridge. At the back is a cosy double bed and a wood-burning stove placed on an old flagstone. An L-shaped sofa seat folds into a further double bed. Outside is a decked area on two levels, a fire-pit on which you can cook in the open air and two level platforms. The purpose built wooden bath house, contains a flush toilet and a luxurious roll-top bath with shower above. They provide bed linen and towels for four people in the bus – anyone pitching tents outside would need to bring their own bedding. Basic supplies such as milk, tea, coffee, sugar, condiments, washing up liquid, toiletries are provided. A net of logs for the wood-burner is provided free of charge and further wood can be bought from as you go.
Location
Getting There
Get to the village of Clyro near Hay on Wye on the A438 between Hereford and Brecon. Look out for the brown tourist signs which says "cosy under canvas glamping" and take this road up the hill out of the village. From there, follow the detailed directions owner Rob sends you before your stay.
