George Square
George Square Glasgow
Glasgow’s lifeblood square is as Georgian as it sounds. George Square is a vast public plaza, one of the few large squares in the tight grid of the city centre. It is awash with grand statues and benches as it is home to everything from protest rallies and Christmas festivities, through to pop concerts and festival events. Surrounded by some of the city’s most dramatic architecture, including the City Chambers, is it also a great place to sit and just take the pulse of Glasgow life.
