Beautifully situated by the Kennet & Avon canal, on the edge of Reading town centre, this former biscuit factory has been converted to a buzzy bar and lovely restaurant that serves a yummy menu featuring hearty fare like ‘sustainable’ fish pie and roasted suckling pig, overseen by Gordon Ramsay’s previous sous-chef, Ronnie Kimbugwe. The lofty ceilings and big airy space makes for a grand yet relaxed place to eat, while outside there's a boardwalk complete with moored boat where customers can enjoy alfresco dining by the canal.  Other branches in Cookham and Windsor.
