Whether you opt to see a Roald Dahl adaptation or full-blown musical such as West Side Story, the scenery is as mesmerising as any of the performances you catch in this amphitheatre carved into the cliffs. It’s certainly the only location known to witness unscripted dolphins in a Shakespeare play, and the ocean makes a stunning backdrop even in the Cornish mizzle (that’s mist and drizzle).
