Start Point
Near Stokenham on the South West Coast Path
One of the most southerly points of Devon – and one of the loveliest coves along the South West Coast Path. There is a carpark fifteen minutes’ walk from Start Point lighthouse, a good walk in its own right. But for the beach you need to follow the path to the south, for about twenty minutes. The cove eventually comes into view and there is a path down. There’s nothing here, beyond the sand and cliffs, so you’ll need to bring all provisions.
