Walk to Chapman’s Pool
Start at the church in Worth Matravers Dorset
Chapman’s Pool is a tranquil bay accessible only by boat or on foot, and although the beach is a mixture of shingle and mud, it makes a great destination in summer for a picnic or refreshing dip. The two-mile walk there is a delight, starting at the church at Worth Matravers. Well signed, the path passes through dells and across fields before a final fairly steep scramble into the bay – note the clay soil can get very boggy around the bay after wet weather.
