With a garden backing on to Corfe Castle, this Purbeck stone pub partly dates back to the 15th century and has a range of real ales, ciders and other drinks. The social hub of the village, the pub has live music most weekends and also hosts various foodie festivals including a Cider and Sausage Festival, a Seafood Festival and a Beer and Cider Festival – check the website for dates. The pub is also strong on food, selling good value local produce such as Blandford sausages, local game casserole with dumplings and Poole bay mussels.
