This attractive 16th-century thatched pub is in the pretty village of West Lulworth near Lulworth Cove. There’s good locally sourced pub food and regular events, including quiz nights, performances by Morris dancers and a Beer and Cider Festival in late March. The garden is also delightful, climbing steeply behind. The pub specializes in real ales and local ciders and prides itself on its dog-friendly facilities – dogs are even welcome to stay in their rooms above the pub.
