Pull’s Ferry to Elm Hill Walk
Pull’s Ferry Ferry Lane Norwich
Pull’s Ferry is a pretty little building that once served as the main water gate into medieval Norwich. Today, it’s a handy starting point for a gentle walk along the River Wensum as its twists its way through the city. From Pull’s Ferry, it takes about thirty minutes to reach Elm Hill, right in the centre, and on the way you’ll pass Cow Tower, a large watchtower where the local bishop had his men collect river tolls.
