Housed in a landmark 19th century building on funky St Giles Street, bang in the centre of Norwich, St Giles House is one of the best-value places to stay in the city. It boasts very good facilities, with a bar, restaurant and a spa offering massages and all sort of treatments. It's also very convenient, just a two-minute walk from Norwich's iconic market square and its surrounding shopping district, and and right in the midst of the city's atmospheric Lanes quarter.

The hotel has just 24 rooms which range from Cosy Doubles through Executive Doubles to a range of Suites. They are all fairly traditional in feel and decor and come with en-suite bathrooms, wifi, air-conditioning, flatscreen TVs with Freeview and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The hotel offers room service, and also does good breakfasts and afternoon teas, as well as Sunday Roasts, and hosts quite a few weddings throughout the year. Its ground floor rooms are also dog friendly!
