Norwich has an excess of old and redundant churches and one of them, St James, has been turned into the home of an excellent puppet theatre, which puts on an enterprising range of shows ranging from old favourites like Thumbelina to modern stuff like the Frog Princess. They also offer a wide range of workshops from puppet-making through to starter courses for prospective puppeteers.
