On the southern edge of Norwich, close to the village of Trowse, this substantial country park falls either side of the River Wensum as it heads east towards the Broads. The park offers gentle woodland walks, a network of cycle routes and it also possesses a brand new Outdoor Education Centre, which provides a huge range of courses from sailing and canoeing to off-road biking, climbing and archery. It also has a brand-new campsite,with grass camping pitches, bell tents and shepherds huts.
