A cocktail bar without any stuffiness, the Island Bar draws a dependably hipster crowd. In fact, with dark wooden floors and darkly coloured leather sofas, offset with flashes of vivid colours, there is a hint of Manhattan swankiness about the place, but it's matched by a beach bar feel (lots of artwork depicting grass skirted ladies) and a rum collection that totals more than 50 types – hence the name. The staff are passionate about their cocktail-making, which is suitably histrionic and demonstrative.
