You’d expect the café in Glasgow's landmark Lighthouse building to be a stylish affair, and it is, but it's unpretentious and reasonably priced too. Up on the fifth floor, it's a little tucked away and you could easily miss it. As well as sandwiches, they offer more interesting starters such as a salad laced with the deeply tasty Dunsyre Blue cheese, and more substantial main dishes including seafood pasta swimming with marine goodies from the west coast waters. They do a mean coffee too, whether you are going flat white or caffe latte.
