Rogano
11 Exchange Place Glasgow G1 3AN
Rogano has been a great spot for top-notch seafood, or just a glass of bubbly and some West Coast oysters, for as long as anyone can remember. The outside tables are improbably as often as busy in December as they are in July, and inside there's a perennially popular art deco interior, dovetailing 1930s architecture with Glasgow’s shipping boom. Just stop by for six, nine, oh go on, make it a dozen, of the delicious molluscs just the way you like them. The lobster thermidor is pretty tempting, alongside the house special bouillabaisse, and in keeping with the rest of retro Rogano, French wines are preferred to New World upstarts.
