Tron Theatre
63 Trongate Glasgow G1 5HB
Not many theatres can boast a history dating back to 1529, or indeed a 16th century steeple. But the Tron is no ordinary theatre. Indeed its location, close to the old city centre, has long been special to Glaswegians, and became even more so in 1999 when the various buildings here were redeveloped into one sprawling artistic space with a clever modern veneer. Loads of different genres are represented here, and you can eat and drink really well too.
