Dunblane Cathedral
The Cross Dunblane Stirling FK15 0AQ
Quite simply one of the UK’s most dramatic ecclesiastic buildings, a voluminous edifice built by Bishop Clement in the 13th century, who made it his mission to rebuild this remarkable cathedral and is appropriately buried within its walls. Architectural highlights include the late-Gothic windows and the medieval woodwork and a touching standing stone memorial to the children and their teacher who died in the massacre of 1996.
