A 45-minute drive to the north of St Davids and rising to almost 2,000 feet, the Preseli Hills offer some fine walking and the only decent mountain biking in the area along with tremendous views on a clear day of much of south and west Wales and even Ireland’s Wicklow Hills. Interestingly, this is also the site from which the Stonehenge Bluestones were quarried.
