The Boat House

Situated right on the waterfront, on the quieter side of Weymouth's busy harbour, The Boat House is a bright and airy abode exuding character and charm. A grade-II-listed building, it makes for a unique and historic seaside retreat, but one that's been furnished with considerable contemporary style. with views to die for over the boats and bustle of the harbour. Squint, and on a sunny day you could be in Normandy or even St Tropez!

The Boat House is a large property too, with space for up to ten guests over three floors, plus it welcomes your canine companion. By any standard it's been beautifully kitted out,  and features a stylish kitchen/diner with a gas range cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a washing machine, and a welcoming sitting room on the first floor that offers tremendous views of the harbour. There are five bedrooms on each floor of the property, as well as there being a gleaming ground-floor bathroom and a first-floor shower room where you can wash away the sand from a fun-filled day on the beach.

To the rear of the property there's an enclosed patio and garden, with a large dining table that is made for alfresco family feasts or friend's get-togethers. The pubs, bars and restaurants of Weymouth are just footsteps away around the quayside, not to mention the town's soft, sandy beach, a Sea Life aquarium and plenty more in and around the town to keep everyone entertained. The scenic Isle of Portland is just a short drive away, as are the other multiple attractions of the Dorset coast, though with a property like this you might want to just stay put and imagine it's yours for a while.
