Glamping in Suffolk
Suffolk is not known for its dramatic scenery, yet for a county so close to London and easy to reach from so many UK destinations, it packs quite a lot into a relatively small area. Inland, it's a thoroughly rural county that's home to few major roads or cities, while its coast sits apart from the main A12 route north and as such feels quite unspoilt, and much of it is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Much of the county is therefore a perfect place to escape to the countryside for a a few days and enjoy the tranquility and wide open skies one of England's most rural counties, from the RSPB reserve at Minsmere to the beach at Southwold or the woods of Rendlesham or Thetford Forest. Glamping opportunities abound, from woodland lodges and cabins to shepherds huts, yurts and bell tents, most of them more luxurious and better equipped than even the best kind of hotel suite. If you want to experience nature at close hand, but don't want to travel for hundreds of miles to do so, Suffolk offers pretty much everything. Check out our favourite Suffolk glamping sites below.
