Adventures await in spectacular Snowdonia, and the Bryn Dinas Camping Pods couldn't be better placed for hikers, bikers and explorers. Located in the Nantgwynant valley at the base of Snowdon, just a stone’s throw from the attractive adventure village of Beddgelert, the eight pods are set on privately owned mountainside woodland, just a few hundred metres from the start of the Watkin Path to the top of Snowdon. Throw open your door in the morning, grab a cuppa and soak up the amazing views – it really is a stunning location.
The cosy pods sleep two a piece in proper twin beds, with facilities inside including electric power and a kettle. Bedding and towel hire is available if you don't want to bring your own. There are four self-contained bathrooms a short walk away (with lots of hot water), while a courtyard barbecue area has picnic benches and a communal kitchenette with microwave, toaster and fridge. Dogs are welcome, there's access to laundry facilities, and they can sort you out with bike hire or adventure trips – basically, you're all sorted if getting filthy dirty and doing something exciting in nature is your bag.
You're also part of a little mountainside holiday compound, with traditional accommodation also available in four holiday cottages and two very comfortable family lodges – 'Dragon's Den' and the 'Maple Lodge' log cabin, both of which can accommodate 4 people. These have superb views, en-suite bathrooms, open-plan living spaces, verandahs with their own barbecues – and dogs are again welcome at both. There's also a 4-berth bunk cabin, 'Dragon's Lair', which also has its own bath and kitchen facilities,.
