Situated in what is now known as Manchester's Northern Quarter – formerly the city's garment district and now rapidly becoming gentrified – the Cow Hollow Hotel is contemporary boutique hotel, very handy for both Piccadilly station and the major attractions of the city centre. Open for less than 5 years, it's family owned and run and has been refurbished with flair and style, finding Its place very quickly as one of Manchester's coolest and most comfortable small hotels.
Cow Hollow has just 16 rooms, decorated in a kind of rustic contemporary style, with bare brick walls, muted colours, copper and dark wood. The king-size beds are handmade and have Hypnos mattresses and high quality linen, and the rooms all come with fast wifi, bluetooth speakers and Smart TVs with complimentary Netflix access. Bathrooms have rainfall showers and REN toiletries. Staff bring you a complimentary continental breakfast bag at a time of your choice, along with tea and coffee, and complimentary hot drinks are available in the downstairs Aviary Café. The hotel has its own cocktail bar too, situated in the lobby, though in this neighbourhood there are plenty of alternatives not onl for drinks but dinner too.
