62 Castle Street is yet another Liverpool building that has been re-modelled: formerly a bank , it provides a perfect setting for what is an elegant townhouse-style boutique hotel. Accessed by way of lovely old wrought iron staircase, the rooms are deliberately large – 20 in all, the majority of which are spacious suites with big windows and lots of light, king-size beds, well-appointed bathrooms with drenching showers, robes and posh toiletries. Each of the rooms is individually decorated, and comes with fast wifi, flatscreen Freeview TVs and tea- and coffee-making facilities – and the top end suites have super-kings-size beds and an additional sofa bed in some cases. AS for the location, it's handy for everywhere. It's not a quietest place to stay, but it is one of the buzziest, and makes a great spot for a full-on weekend break in the think of everything Liverpool has to offer.
