The vines at Sharpham enjoy a delectable position, nestling along the banks of the River Dart just south of Totnes. The South Hams’ unique climate allows the vineyard to produce around 100,000 bottles of top-quality wines a year, many of them international award-winners. You’ll receive a friendly welcome and an opportunity to try the wines, as well as the Sharpham cheeses that are also produced on the estate. You could easily make a day of it, especially if you take a leisurely journey from Totnes, either cycling the river path or taking the boat. Make sure you allow time for a coffee or lunch at The Vineyard Café.
