Near the harbour and nothing fancy, just the oldest most traditional pub in Ilfracombe, one that has hosted local drinkers since 1360 – those wonky doorframes are down to age not your alcohol intake. No mobile phones, no jukeboxes, just locals propping up the bar and visitors munching fresh crab baguettes. Its as original as they come and you'll be thankful for it. An old fashioned sea side pub, pure and wonderfully simple.
