Both are offered year-round by Roylands Stables in central Croyde, a family-run pretention-free yard that welcomes experienced riders and first-timers. Half-hour lead walks cater to toddlers aged four-plus. If your a fan of riding (or even if your terrified but know that it's high time you gave it a go!) then the Devon coast couldn't be a more pleasant place to explore on horseback. There are endless tracks and bridalways to roam taking in the outstanding views and seascapes.
