Café Riva proudly sits on a grassy clifftop offering some of the best views anywhere round here, with the Isle of Wight visible to the east, the Purbecks to the west and the deep blue sea straight ahead. The best place to sit is on its outdoor terrace or decking, handily next to a kids playground and pitch-and-putt course. Here you can enjoy everything from cooked breakfasts to light lunches and full meals, all sensibly priced at around £5–10, or just pop in for a tea, coffee or pint of beer. In the evenings, the menu has an Italian influence, with pizzas, pasta and a fish of the day dish, and a big screen showing sporting events.
