The menu at the Wheatsheaf runs the gamut of cuisines, from pizzas to fajitas to curry of the day via a range of burgers, and pancakes for puddings. The meals are prepared as far as possible using local produce and the atmosphere is casual – you'll find you tend to get on first-name terms very quickly in this friendly pub. They have a pretty courtyard garden for lazing over a pint in summer, while indoors you’ll occasionally be treated to live music. There's a handful of Isle of Wight ales from Goddards Brewery and a decent wine list. Children and dogs welcome.
