Not content with hosting two of the UK's top music festivals, the Isle of Wight has just added a third to its repertoire. From 13 to 23 March, the Acoustic Isle festival will enliven venues right across the Isle of Wight. One hundred live performers are set to appear in intimate venues including pubs, bars and restaurants. The organisers promise some 'surprise' big names, but already in the hat are Joe Gladdis (13 March), Simon Townshend, son of Pete from The Who (22 March), Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer  (21 March), and The White Bicycles (13 March).
