Blackpool's biggest open-air market – behind the Sea-Life Centre – has its tongue firmly in its cheek, what with its "designer sunglasses" for £2.50 and all the rest of its bold claims. But it's definitely the place for your full-on Blackpool party gear, Kiss-Me-Quick hats included (and, to be honest, much ruder logos on T-shirts, vests, hats, dresses and underwear – this is no place to discover you have taste). You'll also find you can get an awful lot for a tenner, from beach games to sticks of rock.
