This tranquil glamping site has a lot going for it. Not only is it situated next to its own fishing lake amid the beautiful countryside of Lancashire's Fylde peninsula, it's also just 15 minutes from the seaside delights of Blackpool and the rest of the coast's excellent beaches. With a mixture of cute, purpose-built glamping pods and cosy bell tents, it makes an excellent choice if you're looking for both countryside and seaside glamping, with a spot of fishing thrown in too.
Stanley Villa Farm is located a few miles inland from Blackpool, not far from the M55 'road to the coast' branch off the M6, so very easy to reach by car. The centrepiece is its five-acre, man-made lake – the home of Stanley Villa carp fishery. It’s not unusual to see wild deer as well as a selection of rabbits, squirrels, kingfishers, hawks and even owls congregating to sup from its carp-inhabited waters. A great place for family glamping, there's lots of outdoor space for vigorous activities, plus sheep, chickens and pygmy goats to pet and feed. You'll also find an on-site shop and loads of attractions and things to do nearby, including two zoos, a water park and numerous other activities, from wakeboarding to pony-trekking – plus the delights of Blackpool and the coast.
The farm’s colourful pods are fully insulated and equipped with comfy mattresses (though you need to bring your own bedding). There’s a selection, ranging from basic all the way up to large, family-sized heated pods with their own private wood-fired hot tubs. In case you prefer to sleep under canvas, there are 10 bell tents, each sleeping two adults and up to four children. They have a wood-burning stove to keep things cosy, beds, mattresses and beautiful furnishings.
Whichever option you choose, little ones will love retiring to their den-like digs for the weekend, while the communal Lakeside Lodge has everything you need for a hassle-free stay, including fridges, washing and kitchen facilities (kettle and microwave) and a big common room. Plus, there’s an on-site food van serving breakfast butties in the mornings and delicious freshly-made pizzas in the evenings – perfect for ordering then enjoying on one of the picnic benches overlooking the lake.
All in all, Stanley Villa Farm is a terrific family-friendly glamping spot in a fantastic Lancashire location, with loads to do both on-site and nearby. Little wonder it's won numerous awards and is the highest customer-rated site in the area. So, if you seek outdoor adventure without skimping on home comforts, you couldn’t wish for a better place to stay in the heart of England’s resplendent rural north-west.

Pods sleep 2 adults (max) and up to two children (or three small children if they can fit on a double airbed – this is a squeeze). You just need to bring your own bedding and additional airbeds/roll mats if bringing your children.
Pods are insulated to keep to a nice temperature, but if you do feel the chill we have hot water bottles available for £3.50 (to keep).
A number of standard pods (currently 8) are now heated with a radiator. These are available to book using the booking system.

We have 4, sleeping 2 adults (max) and up to 3 children. These come with a double and a single bed, and a heater. These are slightly bigger than our standard camping pods. You must bring your own bedding and extra airbed/roll mats if bringing more than one child.
Family-sized heated pod with wood-fired hot tub
Situated towards the top end of the site near the woods, each has wooden decking areas featuring a hot tub – and more privacy/seclusion. Some overlook the lake.
During the cooler months, we recommend you bring warm bedding or extra layers. Pods also come with coat hooks and battery-powered lights.
