Best place for a bit of gourmet sophistication inside the Pleasure Beach is the Oyster Bar, situated under the vintage Flying Machines. There's an outside counter, as well as inside seating, and while you can just take away a tray of prawns or cockles, you can also snap up half a dozen native oysters with Tabasco and lemon juice, washed down with a glass of decent champagne. We think that's pretty darned chic for an amusement park.
