It would be a shame to come all the way to Scotland and not get in a round of golf, and the nice thing about Glasgow is that it offers easy access to some of the world’s great courses. But for a real treat budding golfers should book a round up on Loch Lomond, where the superb Cameron House resort boasts not one but two courses, a nine-holer and the incomparable The Carrick, one of Scotland's most dramatic championship golf courses.
